Production time for custom-made products
Production time is the time that goes into the manufacturing of a Lymed product. Production time is also described by the term “manufacturing time”. Production time does not include delivery, which is described separately under “delivery time”.
Lymed products are manufactured from start to finish in Tampere or with our partner in Estonia. If a product or color has run out of stock, the order is scheduled for production and manufacturing takes place in the order in which the orders arrive. Some product solutions are more challenging than others and take more time to manufacture. Production times are estimates that may vary and live due to order volumes as well as seasonal variations.
Production time is usually 3 to 8 business days (approximately 1 to 2 weeks) for standard-size products and 10 to 15 business days (approximately 2 to 4 weeks) for custom-made products from the time the order arrives at Lymed. After manufacture, the products are delivered to the customer according to the chosen delivery method (see section “delivery time”).
The standard size products, stocked in our warehouse, have a shorter order processing time. We reserve the right to have the standard-sized stock product or stock color sold out, as well as the right to any price errors. Stock items will be handled within 1-2 business days of receipt of the order, after which the products will be delivered to the customer according to the chosen delivery method (see section “delivery time”).
Lymed Oy is not obliged to reserve other products in the same order to the customer, if the availability of one product is poor or its delivery is delayed for reasons beyond Lymed Oy’s control.
In special cases, Lymed Oy’s products can also be obtained with express manufacturing at an additional charge. In this case, the product is manufactured for the same or the next day, considering Lymed’s production capacity. Lymed Oy’s manufacturing time for the fast-manufactured product is 1-2 working days, after which the products can be picked up from Lymed Oy’s store at the agreed time or they are shipped to the customer.
If your order is urgent, we recommend choosing a parcel delivery or picking up the product from our Tampere store. We do not recommend using standard letter mail.
Delivery time is the time it takes to transport a finished product or package to its recipient.
We offer a wide range of products and strive for as fast deliveries as possible. Lymed Oy offers several options for transportation. The products of an individual order can be delivered in several shipments, if necessary.
We always deliver the products to the address specified in the order. Delivery is generally received within 2–7 working days (1–1.5 weeks) from the date of shipment, depending on the delivery method chosen by the customer. Delivery times are indicative and may vary. Lymed-independent and unpredictable delays may occur. Lymed is not responsible for shipping or delivery times or service changes for carrier services.
The delivery method is always selected when ordering. In addition to the customer’s address information, some delivery methods always require a telephone number and e-mail of the recipient.
Products in stock will be delivered to the recipient immediately and products missing from the original order will be transferred to a new post-delivery order. Any reference information is automatically transferred to the new order. The staff will change the delivery costs to match the content of the order and contact the customer if necessary.
We charge EUR 19.90 for deliveries that have not been canceled or collected, which corresponds to the actual cost of delivery and other costs (Consumer Protection Act 6:14). If you do not intend to pick up the incoming shipment, cancel the order as soon as possible by phone +358 20 779 2233 or by e-mail info (a) lymed.fi. There is no right of withdrawal if the product has been manufactured in time. If the product has been measured by Lymed, but the product has not been manufactured, then Lymed Oy has the right to charge a measurement fee without the product’s manufacturing costs.
In store pick-ups, we keep the product reserved for the customer for 14 days.
Responsibility for transport
Lymed Oy is liable if the product is damaged or lost during transport from Lymed Oy to the customer. The customer is responsible if the product is damaged or lost during transport from the customer to Lymed Oy.
If the customer refuses to accept the product, this is considered a breach of contract on the part of the customer. In these cases, we charge EUR 19.90 for deliveries that have not been cancelled or collected, which corresponds to the actual cost of delivery and other costs (Consumer Protection Act 6:14). For custom-made product orders, we also charge the price of the product as is. Read more in the section “cancelling the order”.
During transport, it is possible that the package will be torn or bumped. At the time of delivery of the product, the customer must check the condition of the package. If the customer detects external damage to the package, it must be checked whether the damage has caused damage to the product itself. If the product itself is damaged, contact Lymed Oy’s customer service.
